My dearest Grandma, Words cannot express how upsetting it is that you are no longer with us. I know that you are in a better place now and I thank God that you are no longer in pain, however my flesh still yearns for your presence. All of us grandchildren are so blessed to be able to say that we had a second mother in you. Thank you for loving us unconditionally, continuously praying for us and always being able to make us laugh. I have so many fond memories of you, but if I write them all I’ll be here all day. Thank you for bringing me to the UK to be with my father, thank you for making all those cups of tea for us little grandchildren in your room all those years ago lol, and thank you for being the backbone of our family. I wish I had gotten the chance to speak to you one last time before you left us, but I thank God that I saw you unfailingly every year despite living in different countries. Rest well grandma, you will never be forgotten and your legacy will live on within us. I love you always, until we meet again. Fikayo xx
