Grandma Phyllis It is very rare that people get to meet their great grandmother let alone know them well into their adult years. I am truly grateful that I was gifted that opportunity. I will always remember your humour and straightforwardness (you never beat around the bush). I remember as I was growing up you would send me a cheque each year on my birthday amounting to the age I was turning, a very unique gift. If I close my eyes I can still see your beautiful handwriting on the envelope. Although we are all sad, we are grateful for the life you lived and are happy we were able to create memories with you.
